Apartment update

Today we took the 7 train back out to Sunnyside to view a rental townhouse and take TH to the Pumpkin Patch at the neighboring Sunnyside Gardens Park.

First we hit the Pumpkin Patch, which was a little bit of a letdown, to be honest. I guess I spent too many autumn afternoons at the real thing in Vermont growing up.

However, the recently renovated, end-unit townhouse did not disappoint. TH gives it a thumbs-up.

The main level has 2brs, 1ba, a living room with a bay window, an open kitchen with tons of cabinets, and a formal dining room with sliding doors leading to a private deck.

But the basement seals the deal: It's huge and fully finished, with a laundry room, half bath, and multiple enormous closets. The house as a whole was clean and well-maintained, and had many safe places for TH to play in and explore. The landlady obviously cares a lot about the house, in the best way.

Our only issue is neighborhood daycare, or lack thereof. We have 24 hours before the landlady gets back to us with her decision, so we have some serious thinking to do.
