Last Wednesday we took TH to Jones Beach for the afternoon.
We showed him how to use his sandpail and shovel, but mostly he was only interested in holding and eating them.
The sound of the waves seemed to soothe him.
I held him tight and let his tootsies touch the ocean.
TH had never been on a beach before (though he saw the ocean during our rainy Ocean City trip when he was only 7 weeks old, and he does love the sandbox).
Afterward, he raced up and down the boardwalk, pausing only to hide in between some fence posts.
On the way back we stopped by the Queens Costco and stocked up as much as our apartment-size fridge would allow.
