This weekend PP reconfigured our old Xbox to be an incredible wireless media center using open-source software and a few inexpensive add-ons.
The Xbox now beautifully handles our streaming video, downloaded/ripped video, MP3s, photos, DVDs, and CDs. I plan to get a TV tuner card for our PC to record and stream live network TV, too.
We plan to cancel our cable next month and use the Xbox system exclusively. This will save us around $80/month.
