Since last year, we've had a problem with scaling paint in the bathroom. Last weekend I scraped off all the scaling and repaired the damage.- Exterior vinyl spackle ($15/quart)

- Shower curtain in slate blue ($17) from JCPenney.com
- Bath mat in slate blue ($8) from JCPenney.com
- Slate-blue towels (free, from my old apartment)
Our bathroom redo should cost us $66.
